The LoRa Alliance has announced a live device wall for Smart City Expo World Congress 2026, putting operational sensors from multiple manufacturers on a shared network. The October 27 announcement sets out a hands-on demonstration for the November 3–5 Barcelona event.
The display streams readings as they happen, covering applications such as air-quality monitoring, water and leak detection, and occupancy. Visitors can examine how devices work together instead of relying solely on product slides or a simulated dashboard.
Participating companies include Akenza, Decentlab, Elementric, ELSYS, Miromico, Moko Technology, MultiTech, Sensative and Sensocon. The wall forms part of the alliance’s pavilion in Hall 3, alongside its broader programme on urban and building connectivity.
The demonstration addresses a practical procurement question for cities: whether products from different suppliers can contribute to one usable system. It is a showcase of working LoRaWAN devices and interoperability, rather than an announcement that a new citywide network has already been commissioned.
