Autel Links Diagnostic Fault Codes Directly to ALLDATA Repair Instructions

Autel and ALLDATA have announced an integration designed to shorten the path from finding a vehicle fault to checking the manufacturer’s repair procedure. The November 2 announcement connects MaxiSYS diagnostic software with ALLDATA Repair on supported tablets.

A technician can open a fault code and move directly to information for the selected vehicle, including diagnostic criteria, possible causes and testing steps. A split-screen view keeps the scan results visible while the repair information is consulted, reducing the need to repeat the same vehicle and code searches in separate tools.

Supported devices include the MaxiSYS Ultra S2, MS919 S2 and MS909 S2, together with several Ultra-series models, including Ultra EV and Ultra ADAS. Existing ALLDATA Repair subscribers can use their current accounts, subject to the supported device and service requirements.

The integration also provides a route to ALLDATA Diagnostic Intelligence, which combines repair information with additional diagnostic insights. Its practical significance is access to relevant instructions at the vehicle: identifying a fault code alone does not establish its cause or prove which component needs replacement.
